Music is often one of my greatest inspirations, so it's no surprise that I've got a soundtrack for Sand and Storm. None of these songs have particular scenes, but they all convey at least part of the sense of the novel. I'm constantly adding songs to the soundtrack, so I plan to do a few of these posts whenever I have the time.
Can You Feel the Love Tonight | Elton John
Can You Feel the Love Tonight | Elton John
Particularly when they talk about Kings and Vagabonds. I don't think this pertains to one character or any particular relationship, but all the relationships in general.
Dancing With the Wolf | All Time Low
Dancing With the Wolf | All Time Low
There's a frantic energy to this song that I want to come across in the novel. Also, wolves.
Weight of Living, Pt. II | Bastille
Weight of Living, Pt. II | Bastille
Bastille, in general, is a super big influence on this list. This song helps me really get into Will's head, especially when she's feeling down on herself or remembering the past. I think it has baring on the other characters, but not as great as it does on her, because of all the quick growing up she had to do.
